Hands-on injectable training requires an active, unrestricted professional license (RN, NP, PA, MD, DO, CRNA, or LPN) and valid malpractice coverage. Shadowing experiences and the in-person DeeTox Academy are also open to nursing and physician assistant students currently enrolled in accredited programs.

Training Programs

Each program meets you at a different stage of clinical development. Not sure which fits? That is what the discovery call is for.
Pricing is not listed intentionally. The right investment depends on your experience level, goals, and which format makes sense for where you are right now. We walk through all of it on your discovery call.

DeeTox Academy:
Our in-person group program.
The in-person DeeTox Academy brings together a small cohort for a structured full-day experience combining didactic instruction, live clinical shadowing, and Q&A with our team. It is the most accessible entry point into aesthetic medicine — open to licensed practitioners and students alike — and the natural first step before individual hands-on training. A virtual didactic option is currently in development.

The Team
You train with the people who do this every single day.
Every trainer at DeeTox Academy is an active injector on the DeeTox clinical team. You are not learning from someone who teaches for a living — you are learning from practitioners who see patients and navigate complications every week. That is the difference.
The team includes Top 10 Allergan-ranked injectors in North Carolina, led by Dr. Helen Bode, MD, MPH — physician founder of DeeTox Skin, Laser & Wellness.

A clinical standard, not an administrative one.
We require shadowing before any hands-on injectable participation. This is not a hurdle — it is how we ensure that practitioners entering a live clinical training environment are ready to get real value from it.
The discovery call exists to map this out with you. We help every applicant identify where they are, where they want to be, and what sequence of training actually gets them there. No one is placed in a program that is not right for them.

Because the right investment depends on your experience level, goals, and which program makes sense for where you are right now. A full day means something different for a beginner than for an experienced injector. We cover pricing on your discovery call — in context.
The discovery call is a complimentary conversation with a member of the DeeTox training team. We get to know your background, clarify what you are looking for, and recommend a training path based on your experience and goals. There is no cost and no commitment.
Yes. Shadowing is a prerequisite for any hands-on injectable participation — not an administrative hurdle, but a clinical one. Every practitioner entering a live session needs baseline observational context for the training to be useful. The in-person DeeTox Academy includes a shadowing component built in.
The in-person DeeTox Academy is a group-format program combining structured didactic instruction, live clinical shadowing, and direct Q&A with the DeeTox team — all in one day. It is open to licensed practitioners and to nursing and PA students who want to observe before committing to hands-on training. Dates are set periodically based on demand; join the waitlist to be notified when the next session is confirmed. A standalone virtual didactic option is currently in development.
All hands-on training participants receive a certificate of completion documenting contact hours and clinical competencies — documentation for your professional development record and CV. You also receive continued access to an experienced DeeTox injector via email and text for follow-up questions after your session.
Training takes place at our Chapel Hill and Burlington, North Carolina clinic locations. Location preference and scheduling are coordinated directly after your discovery call.
