Our founder, Helen Bode, began her journey at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she excelled as a Morehead-Cain Scholar and earned her medical degree with honors.
But in 2021, life shifted profoundly when Dee faced a sudden brain aneurysm rupture. Amid this challenging time, Dr. Bode’s focus turned to caring for Dee and raising a young family, inspiring a newfound purpose: to create a space where science, beauty, and compassion meet.
That purpose became DeeTox.
